Tin Can Bay Motel has two rooms designated as pet friendly. Service animals accompanying persons with disabilities are always accepted. The following represent our pet friendly motel policy.

• $20.00 non refundable charge to cover the cost of professional cleaners.
• Small Pets only - less than 10 kilos.
• One pet only per room.
• Pets must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guests.
• Pet must comply with local legislation requirements.
• Pets must be bathed and have had a flea treatment prior to arrival.
• Pets will not be accepted without prior approval from management.
• Pet must be kept on a leash when in the motel grounds unless it is in the guests room.
• Pets must not be left unattended. If guests require a pet sitter or pet supplies, they should contact reception with advance notice.
• Pets are not allowed in the pool or in the pool area of the motel.
• Pets are not to be tied up outside rooms.
• Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets on the motel property and in the neighbourhood.
• Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.
• Management reserves the right to have any aggressive, disruptive, or barking dogs removed by the pets’ owner from the property with no refund given.
• Guests must contact the housekeeping department to arrange for a convenient time for servicing their room.
• Guests are responsible for all property damages and or personal injuries resulting from their pets.
• Guests agree to indemnify the motel, from all liability and damages suffered as a result of the guests pet.
• Guests must read and agree with this Pet Friendly policy as displayed on the Tin Can Bay Motel website.

No pets are allowed on Fraser Island. For guests wanting to go to Fraser Island, please contact reception, to arrange for a pet sitter for the day or an overnight stay.
